Liar, liar, pants on fire

Ok, so I might have lied (unintentionally of course!) when I said that now my exams are over, I will be doing more regular posts. Truth is, I completely underestimated the amount of time that would be spent doing my teaching practical while working. Completely underestimated. For me now, all waking minutes are spent filling in assignments and preparing lessons for my students. I wake up at 6am, go to school until 1pm, go to work until 6pm, then come home and work on assignments until 9pm when I go to sleep. Weekends are spent creating lesson plans and doing even more assignments.

I have been working so hard that I haven't even had the chance to think about makeup, let alone wear any! I am seriously missing my blogging, and as soon as school holidays start and I am back to working normal hours for a bit, I promise to be back with you for regular posts. That is until school reopens!

Until then...

Clarins Everlasting Compact Foundation review

Yes folks, I am still alive *halleluja*, I have just been busy with exams and work so cannot pump out the posts like before, but my final exam is on Tuesday so after that you will see a bit more of me.
Clarins is my ultimate luxury brand of choice, and last month I made a little Clarins haul video (still have to edit though) of all my spoils that I bought!
Clarins Everlasting Compact Foundation
The first thing up for review is the one I was most excited about - the Everlasting Compact Foundation. I am a sucker for powder foundation ever since I got the Palladio one, and I couldn't wait to smush this all over my face!
Clarins Everlasting Compact Foundation
It comes in the most gorgeous red velvet bag, and the container itself is metallic gold. I LOVE how luxurious and decadent it looks and feels! It comes with a sponge applicator and a mirror inside, and can be applied dry or wet, depending on what sort of coverage you want. It is also SPF 15 which is a plus!
The colour I got was 107 Beige, which I hate to admit is just the teensiest too dark for me, especially now we are heading into winter. I love the coverage though, and have only used it dry because I don't feel that I need any more coverage than that.
It retails for R435 for 10g - a bit pricey (especially for budget me!) but I love a good spoil every now and then, and this is worth it!
Info from the Clarins website:
Active ingredients
  • The High-Fidelity System - ensures a perfectly even complexion and stay-true, radiant colour for 15 hours of beautiful wear.
  • The Vegetal Micro-Patch - A Clarins exclusive. Delivers continuous hydration that keeps skin supple and comfortable all day. New generation, powder-foundation texture glides on with a silky touch. Blends beautifully with all skin types.
  • Exclusive 'Light Optimizing Complex' - Captures, diffuses and boosts ambient light - deflecting the attention away from the wrinkles, fine lines and impurfections while infusing your skin with non-stop radiance.
  • Triple Protection - Anti-free radical, anti-pollution, anti-UVA/UVB sun filters and SPF 15 shield the skin from modern day aggressions.
I will slowly put up reviews of all the other Clarins products I bought, and hopefully get around to editing my video so you can see everything I got!

essence colour intensifying base review

From the first brush stroke, I knew I was in love. Nothing beats crisp, white nails, and I am so happy that this shade from essence  (33 wild white ways) has made its way into my collection!

But besides the awesomeness that is pure white nails, when used as a base it is fantastic at making colours POP! I tried it with a light nude colour (26 dare it nude) and a dark purple colour (43 where is the party?), and it worked really well with both. With just one coat of colour, the coverage was great, and the colour compared to no base was really bright. You can see that the right nail has the base, and the left nail does not.

This polish will be a staple for me for sure!

Makeup from Korea Review

Having friends from other countries is awesome - you get to learn new cultures, new foods, new swear words, and of course, get to sample some awesome new makeup from their home country!

Make Up from Korea

I received a couple of awesome products from my friend from Korea, and I am super excited to share them with you!

Etude House eyeshadow

First off is the Etude House eyeshadow in OR203. Etude House is apparently the first make up brand in Korea, and you can read more about them here. The eyeshadow comes in a really pretty embossed case, and the colour is really vibrant!

Laneige eye pencil

Next, the Laneige eye pencil. This is a chubby pencil with two different highlighting colours on each end - one matt and one shimmer. The colours are really good at lifting brows, but I couldn't capture the colour of the shimmer side too well on the photo :(

Laneige shimmer eye shadow

The Laneige shimmer eyeshadow is awesome! I love a bit of glitter, and this adds just the perfect amount of shine to any look. I like how you can just dip your eyeshadow brush in the pot to get the product out - I hate spilling glitter everywhere!

So many freckles!

Finally the two BB creams - Missha and Atom. Korea is known for its BB creams, so I was really excited to try these out! The Atom one (blue and white tube) has SPF 30 and is made for all types of skin. Unfortunately I found this one to be a bit too light for me, but I mix it with other BB creams to get the perfect colour. The Missha one is SPF 25, and the colour is a perfect match. Both have quite good coverage, especially when finished off with some powder.

Unfortunately none of these products are available in South Africa (as far as I know!), so you better befriend a Korean and ask them very nicely to get some for you :)

Tiny Mini Haul with Essence, Maybelline and Coco PLUS First Impressions

Ever since essence has changed their regular colour & go nail polish range  to the gel nail polish, I have been dying to get my hands on them and see how the compare to the old ones. The other day I saw a white polish on the Essence stand and it said that it can be used as a colour intensifying base. I had heard about using a white polish to do this before, and I was excited to see that essence finally came out with a bright pure white colour.

Finally today I made my way to Dischem and bought the white polish (33 wild white ways) as well as a beige/nude colour (26 dare it nude) to test with it. While there, I saw that they were have a R30 off sale of all Maybelline products (yep, that is R30, not 30%!) which made the Colossal Kajal 12h eye pencil R17! I couldn't pass up a deal like that, so I grabbed a turquoise one to try out. Then I also found a lip gloss called Coco, and had to get it for Coco's sake (my wire fox terrier). Plus it was ice cream flavoured and R12 so...

Let me start with the essence polish - the bottles are the same as the old ones, and the brushes have that great rounded shape that make one-swipe application a breeze. I just painted my nails last night, so I didn't have the heart to remove all my hard work to swatch them just yet, but I will be doing a review of them soon - am dying to see if the white really makes the colours pop!

The Maybelline Colossol Kajal 12h eye pencil (try say that three times fast!) is really soft and vibrant. The colour comes out well and I love how it looks with my eyes. As to the 12 hour lasting power claim, I will need to test that out. If it does last 12 hours then I am getting my butt back to Dischem and buying the lot!

Lastly the lip gloss. I have honestly never heard of the brand Coco, nor the company Hair Motion, but a quick google search lead to their website where I saw that they are an American company with quite a few different beauty products. Now first off, I just have to say that one of my many pet hates is when lip products incorrectly state that they are "flavoured". No, you are cherry "scented", not "flavoured" - when I eat you, you taste nothing like cherries! So this lip gloss stating that it is ice cream flavoured is a little irritating, but I will give it a break. The tube is disproportionately large for the amount of product, but I like the twisty bottom and the rather large fluffy applicator! It came in three colours, pink, white and brown, which I assume are supposed to represent the neapolitan strawberry, vanilla and chocolate. Normally I am a vanilla-girl, but I preferred the pink colour to white, so I got that one. It's shimmery and it looks like the glitters are bronzey-gold which I quite like. Unfortunately I didn't have any scent to it at all, nor does it taste anything like ice cream (surprise, surprise). I haven't had a chance to wear it for a long time, so I will do a more in-depth review once I have tested it fully. I had to laugh that they put a warning on the tube that reads "This product contains NO ICE CREAM" - what?!

Lancome Colour Fever Gloss Review

Lancome is not a brand that I have ever used before, but I was given this gloss as a gift, and I absolutely love it!

The packaging looks premium - it comes in a silver box, and the tube itself is simple yet elegant. The shade that I have is 304 Crazy Pink. This colour is the perfect shade of pink for me and I love how well it suits my pale complexion.

The applicator is heart-shaped which makes me love it even more! There is a slight bit of glitter in the gloss which adds some volume, and the best part is that the formula is quite moisturising and doesn't dry out my lips like some glosses do. The smell is also great - slightly sweet but not overpowering.

This lipgloss gets full marks from me - I can't really find anything that I don't like about it!
Have you tried Lancome products? Tell me what your favourites are :)

The Art of The Brick Expo and Oreo Pop Up restaurant experience

Last weekend I went to the Art of the Brick expo by Nathan Sawaya at The Zone in Rosebank, and also paid a little visit to the Oreo Pop Up shop there afterwards.

I thought it would be fun to write about the experience for those of you thinking of going, so I took a bunch of photos and tried to remember everything to relay in detail ;)

Brice and I had seen the Art of the Brick expo when it was in Cape Town, but we heard some people complaining about how it wasn't worth it, so we didn't buy tickets. When we saw it had come to Rosebank, we might as well go check it out since we love LEGO so much (everything is awesome!). We went with my good friend Namhee and her husband Wesley, our usual partners in crime.

Tickets for the expo are R140 for adults, R95 for kids, R99 for scholars/pensioners and R395 for a family of four. The exhibition was much larger than I expected, and was really impressive to see how much time and effort had gone into making each sculpture, not to mention the creative mind to come up with the concept!

There were different sections with different themes, but I have to say that my favourite was most probably the famous artworks in LEGO. Here are a couple of photos of what I liked best:

The Art of The Brick Expo - The Zone, Rosebank
I really enjoyed the expo, but I think that if you are neither a fan of LEGO nor art, that this would be a bit boring for you. The displays are not interactive and there are "Don't Touch" stickers on each display, so if you have young kids who find it difficult to keep their hands to themselves then you need to be on high alert! *Just a note: we were not touching the sculpture in the last photo - it just looks that way!* It was fairly busy when we went with all sorts of people from different age groups, so I think it is a good day out for most people, unless you are looking for something interactive, in which case rather stay at home! At the end of the expo is a "play area" with LEGO pieces to get the kids (or adults!) to use their imagination and create, so I though that was a nice touch.

And then, as you leave the expo, you will see the Oreo Pop Up restaurant right next door! I love Oreos, so I had to go have a little peek. They have a "sushi bar" style counter where you can order your Oreo creation, and then there is a photo spot with props to take some Oreo photos, and there is also a place where you can make your own Oreo characters.

First thing I noticed was a creepy mannequin with an Oreo head running in slow motion. Not sure what that was all about but it did freak me out a little!

We took a seat at the conveyer belt bar and decided on what we wanted to try. We ended up ordering the Rocking Oreo White Chocolate Cheesecake and the Oreo Choc Shortbread Sandwich with Magnum Ice Cream. The cheesecake was amazing - sweet and soft and chocolately and more-ish! I didn't try the ice cream sandwich, but apparently is was good, but nothing too amazing or different. Was basically Oreos and ice cream.

Next we moved off to the photo area to grab some pics. Fun thing was that if you took a photo and shared it on Twitter or Instagram with #PlayWithOreo, then you could print it out for free! We took some photos in the big wire car (and I was sure we were going to break it!) and with the big Oreo on a stick and got them printed.

We didn't create an Oreo character (the boys were itching to find a shop that sold LEGO!) so we made our way to the exit to pay up and go. There was some awesome Oreo merchandise up for offer, and I really wanted the Oreo meg with a space to keep cookies, but my credit card had been used enough for the day, and in any case I knew we were most probably going to end up buying some LEGO to build ;)

The day out was really fun, we had a great time at both the expo and the restaurant, so if you are looking for something to do in Joburg, this is a great way to kill two birds with one stone! Plus if you find the expo ignites your inner child to want to create, then there is a toy store at Rosebank with a big range of LEGO (Lilliputs).

Catch Up - Where Has Karley Been?

Ok, so has it been almost 2 months since my last post? You bet your red lipstick it has, but I do have a pretty good reason for that.

Time to get personal now - my husband and I have been struggling for a while now to fall pregnant. If any of you are in the same situation, you will now juts how emotionally draining this process can be. I have polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), and because of this, I am not ovulating. Early in March I went for another surgery to remove two cysts on my ovary, and about 2 weeks after the op, I grew another cyst. Now for some reason, my cysts do not respond to medication to shrink them, and after lengthy trials of taking meds to get me ovulating, just last week I was told that I need to lose weight to try and get the ovulation going. Now this is difficult, because the PCOS has made me put on weight, so losing weight is twice as hard! The doctors told me to cut out carbs, so I have jumped onto the banting train (unwillingly) and have a personal trainer at gym (who made it so that I couldn't walk for two days after my first session!)

On top of the emotional roller coaster that is infertility, I have also gone back to studying. I got my law degree a few years ago, but law was never what I really wanted to do with my life. So now I am studying teaching, which I am loving, but it does take up a huge chunk of my time, especially with exams coming up in a few days!

So in between not wanting to get out of bed because everyone around me is having babies and I can't, trying to get assignments done, and working full time, I have unfortunately put my blog on hold while I try keep my head above water. Not that I don't have a ton of awesome products to review, and videos filmed, but I just don't have the time to get it all just right to put up here. I promise that I will start again, very soon, because this is my passion, and maybe getting back into my blog will keep me away from the negativity of infertility.

Have an awesome Friday everyone, and enjoy your long weekend! I will be working and studying - say a little prayer for me!

Mind F&%k Friday - the dress that broke the internet

My morning routine consists of waking up, checking all my social media sites, and then finally jumping out of bed at the last possible second for me to have a chance in hell at being ready to leave for work on time!
This morning while on Facebook, a friend had posted an article from Buzzfeed, and asked us what colour we thought a particular dress was. Intrigued, I clicked the link and started reading. I looked at the "obviously" white and gold dress, then looked at the comments below. Truly believing that others' claims that the dress was black and blue were a joke, I scrolled back up to have another look at the dress, and to by complete disbelief, it briefly looked black and blue, then turned to white and gold again!
It seems that after Tumblr user swiked uploaded the image of the dress, the internet has been divided as to what colour the dress is. After some frantic research (I only had about 5 minutes before I seriously needed to get out of bed) I managed to find out that the dress in question was indeed blue and black. This article confirms that the dress is in fact the very same dress as the one below:
Now this dress is clearly blue and black to me, so howcome the first image looks white and gold?! Is it the fact that I love the colour combo (hence my blog background), or have I suddenly been struck down with colour-blindness? It seems that the answer is neither of the above - from what I could deduce from this article, it all has to do with the brain's perception of the lighting in the photo. Those who see white and gold perceive the lighting on the dress to be poor, and those who see black and blue are taking it that the lighting on the dress is good.

Even though the truth about the dress has come out, I am not alone - according to the poll on Buzzfeed, a whopping 72% of people see it as white and gold (percentage correct at time of publishing!).

Maybe Kim Kardashian should have taken a photo of herself wearing an optical illusion - her nudie photos didn't even make a slight dent in the internet compared to this innocent little dress!

Clicks Deep Purifying Nose Pore Strips Review

I have to admit something - I have never used nose strips before. Ever. Not that I haven't been plagued by those horrid blackheads on my nose, but I haven't ever thought about using nose strips in the past. I always noticed them on my nose, but slopping on some foundation and covering them up seemed like a pretty good solution until my husband got me a L.E.D magnifying mirror. With 5x magnification, those little blackheads look like giant beasts. No amount of concealer, foundation and powder can hide them. So when I was out at Clicks buying my favourite makeup removing wipes, I saw a pack of 6 for about R36 and decided that now was the time to try!

The six strips come in individual foil packages housed inside the cardboard box above. In case you are a bit of an airhead when it comes to instructions, they are printed on both the back of the box and on each individual foil sachet, but they are pretty straight-forward!

Instructions:
1. Make sure your face is thoroughly cleaned
2. Open sachet and remove strip from the plastic liner (ooh it looks like a cute little moustache!)
3. Make sure nose is wet with water
4. Apply strip to nose (sticky/shiny side down)
5. Wait 10 - 15 minutes (seems to take forever!)
6. Slowly remove and inspect remains!

Stunning, doll!
I followed all the steps, but found the strip to be a little more difficult to remove than I thought it would be! I knew it would be sticky, but it did hurt quite a bit when I pulled it off, and there was a brief moment in time where I panicked and didn't know if I could continue to rip it off. But, as usual, vanity prevailed and I managed to get it off without any tears.

Now I don't know if you guys really want to see what came out (I did take photos in case!) but I was hella impressed. There was tons of "stuff" stuck to the strip, and after checking my nose, it did seem like quite a few of the beasts were gone. The pores were big, but they were empty, and that made me feel very satisfied in a way that only those of you who like popping and squeezing zits (BAD habit - don't do that!) can understand.

The strips do remove the natural oils and can irritate the skin, so you need to treat the skin in the affected area really well and get it moisturized and happy again! The strips recommend that you wait 4 days between uses, but personally I would only do it once a month, maybe once a week at most, depending on your skin sensitivity and severity of blackhead infestation. I wanted to do another one directly afterwards to nab all the others that didn't get removed, but thankfully I resisted temptation!

If you do want to see what was left on the strip (my husband was so grossed out and didn't think anyone would want to see something so disgusting!) then let me know in the comments below and I will post it. I am one of those people who does want to see proof of how effective a product is, but I can understand that it can gross out other people who don't want to see that sort of thing!

Do you guys use another brand of nose strips, or do you have home recipes that you make yourself?

L.A. Colours 3D Blush Contour Review

Contouring has been around for years, but only became "mainstream" as part of a regular makeup routine last year, with many people posting their contouring tutorials online for those of us who are clueless about the whole process!

Admittedly, contouring has seemed quite intimidating to me. I see the photos of tutorials a la Kim Kardashian and cannot understand how they properly blend everything to end up looking "normal" afterwards.
How do you go from orange and white to the final product?!?!
Nevertheless I have tried contouring with different products, but never found something that I felt worked the way I wanted. It was either too severe, or not noticeable enough. Then I found this gem at my local Dischem!

This is a great little set with a contouring colour, a blush and a highlighter. The back of the case shows you how to use the different colours. It doesn't come with a brush, but luckily I had a contouring brush that works well with it. There were multiple different shades to choose from, and I think there should be one to suit most people's skin tones. I am quite pale so I went for the lightest set called Lovely. Each set is only R40 so it is very easy on the pocket. You can check out all the different sets they have here.

What I like best is that it is a powder, and powders are much more forgiving when contouring than a liquid. It is also buildable, so you can start with a little, and then add should you wish.

I have been using this every day since I bought it, and I think that I am getting much better at my contouring. The effect isn't dramatic, but I don't want to look like a drag queen. I am sure that if I wanted a more dramatic look, I could just add more.

The lasting power is pretty good as well - here are comparison shots from the morning and late afternoon on a sweltering day during the heat wave:

As you can see, my skin is a bit more shiny, but my cheeks still look pretty good! This is with no touch ups (hence the lovely oily look!)

I am pretty impressed with this product - I have never used anything from L.A. Colours before so did not know what to expect, but usually cheaper products have a reputation for not working as well as more expensive ones. This might not be as pigmented as a more high end brand, but it does exactly what I want, and I really love using it. Bonus is that L.A. Colours is cruelty-free which is very important for me!

What products do you guys like to use for contouring?

L.A. Girl Beauty Brick in Smoky Review

As I mentioned in my last post, L.A. Girl has 4 different Beauty Bricks - Nudes, Smoky, Ultra and Neons. I snatched up the Nudes as it looked like a great dupe for Urban Decay's Naked 3, and I was not disappointed at all!

Following my excitement in the Nudes Beauty Brick last week, I decided to get the Smoky one to try out too. The packaging is similar, except that the hard plastic that houses the eyeshadow is pink instead of beige. The outer part is hard cardboard and I think there is a magnet in the lid as it closes nicely. There is also a handy mirror in the lid. It comes with the two-ended brush and 12 shades that are great at making a smoky eye.

The shadows are varying tones of greys, whites and browns. There are about 4 matt shades and the rest are shimmer. I thought that that some of the shades were more blue, but once swatched you can see that the colour in the palette is not necessarily the colour once on the skin.

The photo doesn't show the colours so well (especially #7!), but they are well pigmented and very soft. These swatches are done without any primer as well, and with primer, the colours are much more vibrant.

I was in Dischem and saw they are having a big Beauty Fair sale at the moment, and these Beauty Bricks were all just over R50 each! I bought the Ultra Beauty Brick as well now to test out for you. I don't think I will get the Neon palette as the colours are a bit too bright for me, and not really my thing, but the fact that I now have 3 of the 4 makes me want to get it just to complete the set ha ha!

If you have managed to get your hands onto these yet, what is your favourite palette?

L.A. Girl Beauty Brick in Nudes Review

I am so damn excited for this product that I seriously struggled to wait to fully test it out before slapping it up on my blog!

I have lusted over the Urban Decay Naked Palettes ever since I saw them, but haven't been able to get my hands on them - they are not readily available in South Africa, and when I have found them, they are way too expensive (like over R600!). So imagine my surprise when doing a little makeup shopping at Dischem, I discovered this little beauty (brick) at just R70:

Now I know that just because something looks similar to another product that it doesn't necessarily mean that the product is a dupe for it, but I have seen a fair amount of reviews that claim this is very similar to my coveted Urban Decay Naked 3 palette! Plus they look so similar :)

L.A. Girl has this new range of Beauty Bricks which are palettes of 12 shades of eyeshadow. They have Nudes, Smoky (blues, greys and browns), Ultra (nudes and purples) and Neons (bright, rainbow colours). I snatched up the Nudes palette as soon as I saw it as I mainly wear these colours on a day to day basis, but the other palettes looked awesome as well.

It comes in a cardboard outer box and the inside is a hard plastic. The double-tipped applicator has a brush on one end, and a sponge on the other. The lid has a mirror on it (not pictured as my camera was reflecting too much in it!) The brush is actually fairly good quality, although it is a little small for my liking to apply eyeshadow all over. In my opinion it works better to apply shadow in the crease.

Now for the swatches! There is a good mix of matt and shimmer shades - here I have swatched them all on my arm:

The colours are quite pigmented and the lasting power is also pretty impressive - I applied in the morning before work, and after a ridiculously hot day in Joburg (thanks heatwave!) I took as shot of how it looked when I came home in the afternoon. I didn't do any touch-ups, and as you can see, it has lasted really well considering I didn't use a primer and was sweating all day!

So there you have it - at just R70 from Dischem, this Nudes palette from L.A. Girl is an absolute steal - especially for those of you who, like me, have been drooling over the Urban Decay palettes and never had a chance to purchase! In fact, I loved it so much that I went out and got the Smoky palette too and will be reviewing that for you too shortly.

Have you had the pleasure of trying these palettes out yet? Please let me know what you think!

Sally Hansen Miracle Gel Nail Polish

Hello! Sorry I have been gone for a while - but more about that in a later post!

Just a quick post to express my excitement for a new product I just saw in Dischem - Sally Hansen Miracle Gel Nail Polish!

Sally Hansen Miracle Gel Nail Polish

According to the info, this is a gel polish without the UV light! All you need is two coats of the base colour, and one coat of the specially formulated top coat. Plus it is as easy to remove as regular nail polish - no buffing/soaking/filing etc! Best part is, it is supposed to last for an impressive 14 days! Cost is about R110 per bottle from Dischem and there are 47 shades to choose from. My faves are Birthday Suit, Rosey Riviter, Tea Party and All Chalked Up.

All 47 shades

Have you guys tried this out yet - what did you think? I can't wait to get my hands on this and try it out :)

I have a post planned on another product that I am super excited to tell you guys about, but I am still in the testing phase - watch this space!

Catrice Ombre Top Coat Review

Hello beauties! Hope you are all having a great start to 2015 :) Me, I'm not having the best of luck but I think 2015 will be a year of learning and growing up for me (why can't it be a year of bacon and Hello Kitty?!)

I was very excited to try out Catrice's Ombre Top Coat as I love all gimmicky nail art things. In my experience, most are complete failures but I continue my quest for easy effective nail art and it lead me straight to this.

The idea of the Ombre Top Coat is that you build up the top coat on your different nails, giving the ombre look without having to buy 5 different nail polishes. So nail one has 0 coats, nail two has 1 coat, nail three has 2 coats and so forth.

I used my favourite chip-resistant Sinful Colours silk/satin effect polish in lilac as a base. I thought that perhaps the purple might be too dark as the bottle says to use a light colour, but when I held it up to the lid, it matched one of the little swatches perfectly. I did two coats of purple and then started on the top coat.

The colour of the top coat is reddish brown, and I did one coat on all my nails as I felt that if I left the first nail bare, it might not look right without having the reddish hue. The top coat is supposed to be quick drying, but I found it took a bit longer than expected to dry completely before I could do the next coat.

I followed up by doing 2 coats on the second nail, 3 coats on the third nail, 4 coats on the fourth nail and finally 5 coats on the fifth nail. I must admit that I did have some trouble in keeping count as to what nail to start with!

This is the result:

I found the coverage to be a bit streaky, and to be honest I really did not see too much of an ombre effect. The nail with 5 coats is darker than the one with only one, but it doesn't look too effective. I am quite disappointed in this as I have seen some great reviews, yet my results are rubbish in comparison.

Have you tried this top coat and been more successful? Maybe I'm doing something wrong!
